Alvera Aloe and Almonds Deodorant
Well, first, I'd like to say that this stuff is SOOO soothing on hot days. I love that my underarm area feels so clean and cool, not gummy and pasty. I was introduced to Alvera by a darling sales clerk at Whole Foods in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, GA. I was looking for a natural deodorant to replace the brand I'd been using before, and ran out of. She pointed me in the direction of the Alvera and said that she herself had tried it, and found it to be quite awesome. It was the smell that got me. The Aloe and Almonds fragrance was the perfect mix of sweet and earthy. I snagged a bottle, and I was SO pleased with the result, that when I moved to Los Angeles, I began ordering it from Amazon.com when I couldn't find it on my local Whole Foods shelves. Clarisonic Mia
The Clarisonic Mia really is a wonderful gadget. I have been using mine for about 8 months now, and i have to say that I think the WORLD of it. With one button and one speed, this little guy is no chump! Its micro massage motion works with your skin's natural elasticity to gently remove the yuckies (dirt, oil, the night before) from your skin. I noticed that my skin was immediately smoother after use. Over the course of one month, I saw a significant change in the appearance of my skin. Jack Black Lip Balm
Jack Black is a mens' skin care line that I had honestly never heard of, until I made the mistake of leaving home without my lip balm. Luckily, I was about to have lunch with friends at Muss & Turners at Ivy Walk (Smyrna, GA) or else I would not have had the pleasure of going into the Natural Body Spa to peruse the shelves for some lip RX. At the counter, there was a little basket of small blue tubes emblazoned with the Jack Black logo. I asked the clerk if she'd used the brand before and she said she hadn't but that their customers who had, RAVED. I grabbed 2. I LOVE this stuff. This, too, can be found at several locations across the city, that is, when I'm LUCKY enough to find it. The places I frequent are always sold out, so I find myself at Amazon.com yet again. PFB Vanish
Hair removal is a must year-round, but ESPECIALLY in the warmer months. PFB is a MUST-HAVE for EVERYONE. Men, women, every BODY. Prevents and treats ingrown hair. Smell is a tad strong at first, but it subsides. As for the initial stinging sensation on your skin when the product is applied, it only lasts about one minute. Trust me, it's worth a few moments of discomfort to have nice smooth skin in those areas where hair has been removed.
