Ethiopia Habtemariam

The current issue of Essence Magazine features a write-up on one of the top music execs in the business, Ethiopia Habtemariam. When Ethiopia and I met, I was first struck by her stunning beauty. However, her reputation in the music business preceded her, as she began her career while she was still in high school, and had an impressive resume. I was really shocked to see someone her age in the position she was in, who seemed to have such drive and passion for what she did. As the Executive Vice President for urban music-creative affairs at Universal Music Publishing Group AND Senior Vice President at Motown Records, Ms Habtemariam is on the 'Next List' as of Essence Magazine's young, awesome and Black professionals!! Ethiopia looks STUNNING as always! I'm so glad to see her getting the props she deserves in a magazine I'm sure she's been a fan of since she was a little girl. Talk about full circle! :-) Check out Ethiopia Habtemariam along with Issa Rae, Azealia Banks, and Chanel Iman in the August 2012 issue of Essence magazine (Nia Long and her sons on the cover)!!
